Soy and soy products (like tofu, tvp, edamame, meat substitutes,) beans and other legumes (peas, peanuts, lentils, chickpeas,) nuts and seeds, whole grains (quinoa is a complete protein,) fruits and veggies (especially dark green ones,) even mushrooms contain protein.
If you're eating a balanced diet and getting enough calories, you are almost certainly getting enough protein. There is no "best source" because you need a varied diet to be healthy. Try to get some protein from at least a couple of different sources daily and you'll be fine.

Stop worrying about protein! Most people get too much protein, vegans included. As long as you don't eat a junk-food diet, and as long as you eat enough food and a variety of things, you'll be just fine. The protein myth is one of the most pervasive and pernicious out there, sponsored by animal industries to keep us eating their nasty products.
And too much protein, especially animal protein, taxes your kidneys and causes you to lose calcium from your bones. This means that the dairy industry's calcium claims are just so much garbage; an excess of dairy causes you to LOSE calcium.

We're big on beans, nuts, and seeds! Plus all living things have amino acids in them so it's not hard to find protein!
