Nowadays, you see sandwich wraps everywhere you go. Why not create your own vegetarian wrap. Take a flour tortilla and fill with grilled vegetables (any grilled vegetables will do, like zucchini and onions), shredded cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, lettuce and your favorite dressing (like balsamic vinaigrette , caesar dressing or mayonnaise). Roll up the tortilla and put some plastic wrap around it. Stick a toothpick in the center so that it can maintain its shape. * Do you love Italian Panini sandwiches? Take some baguette bread and slice it in half. Spread some goat cheese on both sides of the bread (you can buy this at your specialty grocery store). For your filling you will need both red and yellow roasted bell peppers, cut into thin strips. Add a few fresh parsley leaves on top and you have got a tasty sandwich.

My favorite veggie sandwich is grilled veg in a wrap with a little bit of hummus. It is so yummy!
I also like salads that have fruit & nuts in them. Try mixed greens, sliced granny smith apple, craisins, red onion, a little bit of feta, & walnuts with Balsamic Vinegrette. You can eat a lot of it volume wise for a big nutritional punch w/o a ton of fat, and it is a well balanced meal because of the fruits, veg, dairy, & protein. Add some whole grain crackers & it doesn't get much better.
Here are some other ideas:
Pita, carrots & hummus
Pasta salad w/ lots of veggies
Fruit w/ Kashi & yogurt
Tomato & mozzerella salad
bagel & LF cream cheese
Whole grain bread w/ swiss cheese, tomato & lettuce
Cool Veggie Pizza (http://www.recipezaar.com/10510)
Cut up veggies w/ dip; whole grain crackers, and a little cheese for protein
PB banana sandwich on whole grain
Sliced Apple & PB
Veggie Quiche (good at room temp)
If you have a thermos or a way of heating foods:
pasta w/ veggies & red sauce
vegetable soup
minestrone soup
vegetarian chili

-little raisins in boxes
-carrot sticks
-juice boxes
-apples
-nuts: peanuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios
-cheese sandwiches with lettuce and tomato
-peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
-If you have a microwave, veggie dogs or veggie burgers with whole wheat buns and little packets of ketchup and mustard from some fast food place.
-hummus and crackers
-peanut butter in celery
-bananas
-yogurt
-ice tea
-soy crisps
-protein bars
-tabouli salad
-vegetable sushi (we get it at the grocery store)
Sure, the nuts and the cheese are a little high calorie, but remember they fill you up a lot, give you a bit of protein, and make you feel satisfied until dinner, unlike junk food that just goes straight to blood sugar and you're hungry again in an hour.

They make those little lunch packs now that have veggies and dip in them (they are like lunchables). Veggie wraps are good, get a spinach wrap and load with your favorite veggies, you could add a little cheese for Calcium and some type of dressing.
I love to make salads and combine all kinds of new things in them, baby spinach, walnuts (for protein), strawberries (sounds weird but it's great with Italian dressing).
You can cut up fruit and make a fruit salad. Take peanut butter for dipping apples.

Very responsible of you! it's so much healthier to take your own lunch! plus you dont have to stand in the Q for half of your break!
There are so many options that you could choose from! But i thought i should mention that being a vegetarian isnt an answer to getting skinny! you can do this many ways, or you could just love yourself the way you are! curves are beautiful!! show them off!!!
my suggestion is that you could pack........................
an apple
some carrott sticks
some crackers and cheese
some plain cashew nuts to snack on
some chocolate just incase its a crap day!!
and a ham and pickle sandwich! mmmmmmm

(you can find the Vegetarian 'meat' in your local grocery store usually, unless you live in a small town. Then you might have to go out of town. Also, make sure you have a way to cook it when you get to school. That is if it needs to be cooked. Like, if it needs to be microwaved, make sure you have a microwave at school.)

If it's possible for you to take a blender, I had really good lunches blending stuff. I'd take juice to help liquify the stuff, water makes it kinda bland. At home, I juice carrots and celery and then dump it in the blender with apples, grapes, watermelon, bananas, etc. I make a mean salad with baby spinach, red onion, minced garlic, shredded carrot, raisins, other stuff, with olive oil, apple cider vinegar and a little honey (to take the bite off of the vinegar) as a dressing and feta cheese. Took that in a zip bag and left it in a teacher's fridge. Stay away from sodas (even diet) and fast food if you want to lose weight. I eat 4-6 times a day and have lost 25 lbs in 2 yrs. no problem keeping it off as long as I don't go to McDees.
