like silk's products or basically any type of soy?Im not quite sure if its good or bad for your skin...i know its good for you though..Im already taking accutane to get my skin clear and im a new vegan and hopefully my skin will look as good as it ever will.Anyone know?

Unless you are oriental, you probably want to stay away from soy products in any form, as you don't have the genes to cope with it.

Don't count on any one food product to do anything specific for your skin, but, having said that, anything containing vitamin A is good for your skin. However, it may not do anything for you, even if you were to digest tons of the stuff.

Generally speaking, unless you have an allergy or other major skin condition, or are under a doctor's care, regular washing with warm water and plain soap (nothing with heavy perfumes; avoid ones with high lye content; most gel or "tar"-based soaps are fine), then rinse with warm water, then rinse again with cool water to "seal" the pores". Pat dry (i.e., don't rub). Avoid using wash cloths on your face, as they may spread the oils you're trying to get rid of!

I used soy products, and they were soooo relieving on my skin. Love it.
