Gas or acidity can not cause heart attack-
The symptoms of heartburn are hard to ignore. You've just eaten a big meal and leaned back in your favorite chair. As you begin to relax, your chest starts to hurt so much it feels like it's on fire.
Heartburn (gas and acidity) is common, and an occasional episode is generally nothing to worry about. However, many people battle heartburn — a burning sensation in the food pipe (esophagus), just below or behind the breastbone — regularly, even daily. Frequent heartburn can be a serious problem, and it deserves medical attention. Frequent or constant heartburn is the most common symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) — a disease in which stomach acid or, occasionally, bile flows back (refluxes) into your esophagus.
Most people can manage the discomfort of heartburn with lifestyle modifications and over-the-counter medications. But if heartburn is severe, these remedies may offer only temporary or partial relief.

Now I just speak from assumption. I would think the answer is No. But, I have seen when a person think it was Heart Burn and it turned out to be a Heart Attack and they died. Also, anything is possible. How do we define a Normal Condition? If I remember correct Arnold Swatfly was normal and had a Heart Attack. Gas pressure could reach a point it put Stress or something on the Heart. I would think it be a very rare occurrence, but, we can not say for fact it may not happen. I guess we have to use good judgment. What the first thing a Doctor usually ask; "What's wrong"? Well, dang, I thought they supposed to know, not me! I would take an Anti-acid pill or whatever you take for this. If, it persisted I may go to the Doctor and tell him/her what wrong.

Gas and acidity can not cause a heart attack. The symptoms of gas and acidity may mimic the symptoms of heart attack like discomfort on the epigastric region, feeling of tiredness and unwell.
Hence, people tend to ignore these symptoms even though they had heart attack thinking that these are the symptoms from acidity. If you get repeated episodes of these symptoms it is always better to check with your doctor to make sure that you are not suffering from the heart attack. Remember, a heart attack can result followed by a heavy meal.
People tend to ignore and only latter come to know that they suffered a severe heart attack and died of their ignorance.
So, gas and acidity are not the causes of a heart attack. Do not die of ignorance. Consult your doctor before a permanent damage has occured.
Regards.

That is the primary stage of your sickness. It srats with acidity, then hypertension and precipitating in heart. Quit everything that amkes you tense. That will reduce acidity. If you can control it , a normal life will follow.
