The though occurred to me today while I was eating some leftover Chinese takeout... Do the Chinese have sandwiches?

They have pork filled buns which is sort of like a sandwich. Actually kind of like a Hot Pocket... lol.

Also, eggrolls are like chimichangas, except with veggies instead of refried beans and chiles. My kids used to call eggrolls burritos when we went out to Chinese food.

Peking duck is eaten like a sandwich. In the Southern China, they use a bun to sandwich the crispy duck skin while in the North they use a then flat tortilla-like wrapper... a wrap sandwich(?)... same with mu shu pork.

Don't know about the Chinese, but the Vietnamese have Bánh mì. I haven't tried one yet, but they look delicious.

Edit: Found this that references a Chinese sandwich called Roujiamo.

They do, it has been a recent development, and for breakfast only. In the last 10 years, breakfast sandwiches have become available by street vendors. The bread is white, very soft, and slightly sweet. The most favored fillings are fried egg or pork floss.
