PaulaMarie,
It is highly Unlikely that he will have such a problem. They have a number of different medicines now and they can change his medicines if he does have a problem with it. I suggest that he continually checks his sugars for awhile and begin taking a multiple vitamin supplement. I did so and was able to cut a lot of the insulin that I was taking begin checking blood sugars at different times each day to see that he is not having high or low sugars at different times. Drop me a note if you ever have questions. I have been a diabetic since October 1966 (type 1). But I read and study a lot of different diabetic information and stay up with what is going on in research. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

Diabetes it's a disease when your body doesn't produce enough insulin. And insulin is neaded to burn the sugar in your body.. It is not clear how people get dieabetes, scientist are working on that. but there are still some reasons such as very low imunity, or genetics,or if you are too emotional, and were worring about something too much. I know for a fact thaqt genetics should be involved in diabetes, but it doesn't always mean that if your father is diabetic you will also get it. Genes work in a very strange way, it might be that your grandchild might get or even not, you can never tell that. Generally there are no symptoms of getting diabetes, when you notice those symptoms you already have dieabetes. such symptoms are: constant thirst, hunger, rapid weight loss, feeling tired, goint in bathroom too often.. If you worry that much about it, you can go to doctor and check you blood suger once in every year, in that case you will be sure you don't have it.

Sexual problems happen due to the vascular and nerve damage which are complications of untreated diabetes. The medicince is not the culprit.
If he changes his lifestyle and gets his blood sugar under control, with medication if necessary, he will not have these complications.

500 mg. of what?
Diabetes, if untreated, will definitely cause vascular problems, and therefore sexual problems.
Change everyone's diet now, and monitor or pack his lunches.
Exercise with him at least three days a week - six if he is overweight.
Any sugar-reducing drug can only help him, cause once the damage is done, it's hard to reverse - impotence is one of the first signs of heart disease.

One of the side effects of diabetes medications and diabetes is can give males impotence, what I will suggest is that try to see if you can make some changes in your diet, also if he is strong enought get him into detox, (becarful with some diabetes can get worst), you should try to do something if he just got it, don't substimate the power of nature, alternative medicine is very succesful in this, we have very good success in our clinic with our patients, we give back quality life to diabetes patients.
