I am thankful for the Vegetarian & Vegan section of Yahoo! Answers. It allows me to share information with other veggies. However, one thing we can do without is the profanity. One poster, in particular, feels it is necessary to use bad words to convey her messages.

"...ham slices... soooo damn good! - jenny84"

I respect the rights of others and if she likes ham, that is her choice. However, I don't think it is necessary for her to use bad words. I am definitely going to report this person.

You see what I mean, she just used God's name in vain. "Hahahahaha oh jesus, this is hilarious. - jenny84"

"Sorry, did I say damn? Damn, didn't realize that anyone could possibly find it damn offensive... I apologize... really damn rude of me. - jenny84"
You see what I mean everyone, this poster does not care that kids can see her profanity filled post. Can someone help me report her to Yahoo! Answers. I would like for her bad words to be removed.

You are soooo right Ashley!
There is a certain user here who posts disgusting questions about her and her boyfriend enjoying smelling eachothers farts and this person posts it in the V & V section of all places! This person also threatens to report everyone who disagrees with her even if it is a meat eater who actually gives a factual straight forward, backed up by scientific facts, answer.
If you feel it is necessary to report jenny84, them it must be absolutely necessary to report this other person for their offensive questions and answers as they all seem to offend vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I highly reccommend everyone reports this 'other' person because posters such as this 'other' person should not be allowed to post their spite and venom and pointless questions anymore!

Btw Stop your offensive stalking of jenny84, your constant lies about her are disgusting

Edit: Oh I look forward to it, please feel free to e mail me a copy.

Rookthorne - Would you mind e mailing me a copy as well if you don't mind - this has all gone far enough now!

To be honest that is life- not everything can be perfect. That was just someone's opinion, and it's not like there is a rule for non vegetarian people to be disallowed from entering the Vegetarian and Vegan section. Im sure if you were in a section where there was some question about meat you would say that you dont eat it because it is cruel etc, which is fine because that is your opinion. Also damn is not a swear word, it is not as bad as half the words that people use on here so don't report her for it.

It seems to me that the Veggie & Vegan section is turning into a bit of a slanging match..... by the way, I don't think 'damn' is that bad a word any more. Maybe the f word or the c word .... I could understand you getting a bit annoyed at that but... damn?????

On a separate note entirely - why do you ask so many questions? Especially if you know you're going to get such bad feelings from the other guys - are you just baiting them?

Firstly, it's Vegetarian, not Vegearian. You really should know how to spell the name for your own lifestyle preference.
I had to look up jenny84's comment, as I'm sure everyone else did as we are all perfectly aware of how you like to twist anything she says (there's a whole chicken incident you still never gave an explanation for) and of course she was talking about fake ham...
Respect the rights of others? That is her choice? How many times on here have you told us it's not a choice, it's murder, it's wrong, it's evil and bad and ignorant. You don't respect anything or anyone, including the rights of animals.
The best way to stop the profanity is to stop using it (repeating it) yourself, stop verbally abusing anyone who disagrees with you and stop making provocative comments. But I'm sure if you are such an activist, then you will be used to a lot worse.
Lastly, God & Jesus - not the same entity. Jesus was God's son on earth, his disciple and redeemer of the people. How you could get these two mixed up I really don't know when you quote the bible so much. Both are considered "our Lord", as in "our Lord God" or "our Lord Jesus" but that doesn't mean they are the same.

Ashley, I think you might be a little over-sensitive,
I am not sure if the profanity you refer to is damn or ham. Either way, I don't think there is a parental control filter that would censor either word,
This is the internet, you are exposed to the thoughts and words of all types and classes of people. If you are truly offended by the comments of this one poster, you will be in for a major shock when you come across something really offensive.
Please don't bury your head in an imaginary utopia. Face the world for all it has to offer both good and bad.. Live life to the full.

There are worse things than profanity (actually perhaps you can define "profanity" for me please??) They say that "ignorance is bliss" - if that is correct you must be the most blissful person on the planet !!!
I love & I quote " I respect the rights of others .....!!!!" What absolute drivel, you can`t even post Q`s on the correct forum
Quote again " I have written an extensive report .....!!" Of course you have dearie, you have never heard of "succint & to the point have you? You are still a muppet!!!

Firstly, bad language is not confined to the V&V section.

Have you considered that you should bear some responsibility for bringing such responses to your 'questions' ?

You have several choices, apart from the obvious, if you really want to :-

Ignore them
Stop asking provocative questions
Stop responding to answers by issuing threats
Stop goading people with unnecessary remarks.
Respect the choices of others and their views

Ask a sensible question, then choose a best answer - leave it at that.

Oh, take a chill pill, Ashley. You're making the rest of us look bad.

Besides, the really bad words are filtered by the Yahoo autocensor, and "damn" is not one of those words, so just DEAL, okay?

Ashley, it is so, so easy - stop writing it!

As for 'sharing' information - all you have ever done in this section is insult and bad mouth other users, none of the previously written diatribes that you have submitted have been informative, nor in the most part accurate.

Have you ever considered how many of the people you allegedly report actually ever receive a caution from Yahoo?

But I know for a fact that YOU have.

As you accused me of stalking you, I felt it only fair that I should return the compliment, and to this end I have collated all of the questions you have submitted to this site as a whole since 24 May 07 ( all 116 of them - including the ones you thought you had deleted), and will be submitting them with a full written complaint as to your behaviour to the Yahoo mediators in due course.

Have a nice life.

Additional: Ashley, no problem - I've already sent my report off.

There seems to be a rash of rude people in all categories of Y! A that have taken over this site. They are insulting, use poor language, and hammer thumbs down on anyone who has a different opinion than theirs. Y! A isn't much help, either. I reported a person who answered a meat question with an answer of "I'm a veg, so shove it up your..........". You can only imagine how her answer actually ended. Y! A did nothing. It's unfortunate. This used to be a good website. But rude people have taken it over. Y! A doesn't care.

First off, your lying. Jenny84 is a vegan that you don't like because you know she's smarter than you! She's an honest person that dosnt get on my last nerve! Your the person that needs to be reported! And no you dont respect others!
" I think that many meat eaters are racist"-Ashly
"Meat eaters are murderers"-Ashly
"I think meat eaters have a lower IQ"-Ashly

You cant report somebody because you don't agree with them! Plus, let everyone say what they please!
