There is a company in Golden Colorado named Xsunx Inc that is developing a solar film that can be placed on windows as a screen, yet, in turn, collects the solar energy and converts into electricity. It is an ultra thin photo-voltaic film placed on the windows. Mostly still under development, this appears to offer some interesting, if not world changing, ideas.
