you are creating your own problems here, and it is likely due to a lack of knowledge about your disease process. You still in denial? Let me urge you to make an appointment with a nutritionist or a diabetic educator. Learn how to better control your disease process.

You must make every effort to see a doctor and if you can't then keep on doubling the effort until you see a doctor.

A hospital will see you for free if you cannot afford to pay and an ambulance will take you to the hospital if you have no other means to get there.

Your blood sugars are at an extremely dangerous level and need to be lowered immediately.

You have been under the care of a doctor if you are receiving insulin. There are many different type of insulin. Perhaps you need a change.

It is also important to adjust the quantity and timing of the insulin according to your eating and to your food intake.

Some types of insulin may cause your hunger. It may also be caused by your eating habits. From what you write I am guessing that you starve yourself for part of the day and then get super hungry. Starving yourself or not eating at the proper times may actually increase your blood sugar rather than reduce it.

In addition to the amount of food that you eat you are probably eating the wrong foods. A cheeseburger, especially one with a white roll is harmful. I hope that you do not have fries with that or a glass of regular soda to wash it down.

Again let me repeat since it is so important. Get yourself to a HOSPITAL NOW!! You are in danger. Do not wait. Do not attempt to treat yourself. You see how unsuccessful that is. Call an ambulance if necessary!

PS You can also go to a walk in clinic

Just a suggestion.

Can you reach your doctor or who is on-call for him/her?

If not...you can try what I do with my patients.

Since humalog is a FAST ACTING insulin, try a high dose sliding scale like this 15 min. BEFORE each meal and at bedtime:
70-120 None
121-150 2 units
151-200 4 units
201-250 6 units
251-300 8 units
301-350 12 units
351-400 16 units
>400 20 units
& repeat BSG in 1 hour / if still >400, then call doctor.

Also, start increasing your Lantus by ONE UNIT every night until your AM blood sugar reads between 100-130, then hold at that dose.

Stop the nightly cheeseburgers. Try some fruit and peanut butter crackers with a glass of milk instead.

Best of luck!

What other meds are you on? Any orals (Glucophage, Actos, or Avandia?)

Hi! I have lots of patients with diabetes and you need to serious earn about how foods spike your sugar levels. Eating a cheeseburger that is heavy in hidden carbs, sugars (ketchup) and salts is a no-no. You can not eat WHAT you want, you must eat what you body needs or you will pay dearly. Every library has books on what are the best diets for diabetes. The shots are only a poor substitute for what the panceas can no longer do. And this is very difficult to regulate with out a strict diet and schedule. Eating all over the place is making you body completely out of whack. You are not immune to indulin, although you levels beed to be adjusted as your eating habits create havic with your blood sugars.
Eating such a heavy meal late at night puts too much stress on the body and you can't sleep. Try Weight watchers or see a doctor through a clinic. But you have to see a doctor. Insulin and diabetic related diseases and heart problems are next on you shedule of problems if you do not get on a program and stick to it. Neuropathy is no fun and only becomes worse as you go off the scale with your sugar levels.
All hospitals has few diabete screenings and support groups. Check that out now. M

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

=O Omigoodness. I don't want to sound like a worrywart, and tell you to immediately see a doctor. But since you cannot at the moment...

Glucose levels can be shot up by something as simple as a sandwich. Why? A sandwich contains carbs, which spikes blood sugar levels, definitely. I learned this the hard way.

You have to find something to help your appetite, while being diabetic-friendly. I suggest those little Jell-o Pudding/gelatin cups. Small, but will keep your sugar low until your next meal. Eat as many as you want, too! Try to find meals that have low-carbs [I know, dreadful], until you can get your levels under control.

I hope everything works out for ya. =]

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/ZPtKr

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

If you are unable to reach your doctor for some reason or another then you need to head off to the Emergency Room. You need to get your sugar levels regulated. I doesn't seem you are well knowledgeable about your disease process and should have a dietician go over menu options. Eating a cheeseburger before going to bed isn't healthy for anyone especially someone diabetic.

Hey,
I'm a medical researcher. Neuropathy is not a single disease instead, it is a complication found in a number of different underlying medical conditions. Seek medical care right away if you notice any unusual tingling, weakness or pain in your hands or feet. Early diagnosis and treatment offers the best chance for controlling your symptoms and preventing further damage to your peripheral nerves. If your symptoms interfere with your sleep or you feel depressed, your doctor or pain specialist may be able to suggest treatments that can help.

A good natural program I recommend to help you cure your neuropathy can be found here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=569
Cheers.

Snack on celery before you get hungry. Fill up so you won't want to eat so much. Drink lots of water. Keep your stomach full. Sandwiches are your enemy, especially fast foods. Two Krystals shoot my BS to nearly 500. Eat before you get hungry so you don't eat so much. If you wait until you get hungry, you will eat more, and your body won't trigger you to stop eating until you have eaten WAY too much. STOP all sodas. Instead drink water, flavor it if you must. Processed foods contain hidden ingredients that promotes diabetes. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes when I was 39. I am 63 and have had two strokes, two mini-strokes, just getting over 6/11/14 foot surgery. I have had "blisters" caused by sugar appear at various places, (groin, belly, buttocks, leg, foot etc) It won't kill you quickly, but it has sure caused me to not be so sure I want to continue living like this.
