A 7 oz. avacado is only 16 grams of carb and they are very good for your cholestral..... I am diabeteic and advised to eat 60 grams of carbs per meal, so yes, I would say this is a healthy choic. Consider going to www.calorieking.com for all the carb counts on foods you like. Write them down and hang them on your fridge for future refrence! Email me if you need to know anything else, I'll do my best to help.

It is sodium free, cholesterol free, low calorie and high fiber. Sounds pretty good to me. Did you know that an avocado is a fruit and not a vegetable?

yes - it's low carb and low cholestrol and contains good fats that reduce cholesterol. You can put them in sandwhiches instead of cheese or meat or bake them with other vegetables like peppers and onions - delicious! :) xx
