Ever since I lived in Manhattan - there are so many little Polish food stands and they were all so affordable and filling I eat more of that type of food than any other. Love all the yummy combos and it is easy to make completely veggie for my friends too!

As my parents were Polish I was bought up on the stuff.
My favourites are my Godmother's pirogi (swimming
in butter and cream) and my mother's potato panckes
and bigos(boiled sausage and sourkraut). I'm not
so keen on galomki (cabbage leaves stuffed with
mince and rice) but that is a personal preference
because usually our English friends would lap up
anything she made.

Yes, I eat it all the time and I love it. :)
I've tried pretty much everything:
Pierogi - dumplings, usually filled with sauerkraut and/or mushrooms, meat, potato and/or cheese, or blueberries or other fruits
Barszcz - beet soup
Chłodnik - cold soup made of soured milk, young beet leaves, beets, cucumbers and chopped fresh dill
Rosół - chicken noodle soup
Żurek - soured rye flour soup with white sausage and/or hard-boiled egg and potatoes
Kapuśniak - sour cabbage soup
Bigos - a stew of sauerkraut and meat
Gołąbki - boiled cabbage leaves stuffed with ground beef, chopped onions, and rice or barley, baked in tomato sauce
Gulasz - beef, onions, red peppers( Hungarian goulash)
Kotlet schabowy - pork chops
Placki ziemniaczane - potato pancakes
Naleśniki - - crepes which are either folded in to triangles or rolled in to a tube servings with sweet white cheese, sugar and sour cream
Mizeria - cucumbers and sour cream
Makowiec - poppyseed cake
Chałka - sweet white wheat bread
Babka - Easter cake
Pączki - doughnuts with marmalade(usually rose)
Faworki - light fried pastry covered with powdered sugar
Kiełbasa - sausage
Pierniki - soft gingerbread shapes iced or filled with marmalade
I don't eat too many of those anymore since I'm vegetarian, but I can assure that they're all delicious. Especially faworki, those are great. :)
And there's probably a whole bunch more I forgot, but these are the main dishes.

only garlic sausage . it was really strong. but ok.dont know what it called. sliced very thin and round. will try anything . many shops and supermarkets now are catering for the Polish people here, but the best shops i have seen and the most variety was a little shop in James St, BRADFORD . YORKSHIRE. Hope it still there. the contents were amazing.

Kielbasa and pierogi are my favorites.
Especially filled with potatoes and served with sour cream.
Chlodnik is what we eat on Easter usually, since it contains no meat.
As for desserts, I like nalesniki filled with jam or cheese and raisins.
