I'm a meat eater but i respect everyone's right to eat what they want. Why are some people worried about the eating habits of others? Why some people have hatred for other people just b/c their eating habits are different from theirs? I think it's so ridiculous to not like someone just b/c they eat meat or they don't eat meat. They are way more important things in this world to worry about than about someone's eating habits.

Amen, brother.

Amen on the Yankee part too. *high 5*

Too much pressure is put on what we eat, when people are starving and wouldn't care if it was meat or veggie, as long as they are eating! I think we should be thankful for the amount of food available to us and not complain about food choices.

Only morons care what other people eat.

I'm vegan and think that the deed is evil but never have had negative feelings towards a meat-eater.

It does annoy me when people say that they "used to be vegan/vegetarian" and now they eat meat.

It's the human condition. No matter what people say, there are always going to be prejudices regarding even the most inconsequential things. There's really nothing you can do but ignore it and accept this fact I guess...

Its human nature to look for a weakness to "prove" they are better than others. Diet just happens to be one topic

I don't think i subscribe to that but it does seem to be a trait in many people.

Is there ever any good reason to make someone the subject of ridicule?

I'm looking into keeping bees. A link on a web site took me to a vegan site, where it said keeping bees is cruel and exploitative? What about the worms when planting crops!

I agree. Plenty of more pressing problems than what someone eats.

HOWEVER, people who load up on fastfood/junkfood and then complain they are fat and try to sue the fast food companies, well, those people are just morons.
