Check the carb count on them. That will be one of your main considerations. Carbs turn into sugar after digestion. Have you seen a dietician and set up a diet plan? Have they told you how many carbs you can have per meal or snack? That is what you need to be aware of. Get your diabetic team involved and find out what you need to do.

If you are gonna eat prepared foods they are probably the best choice since they are not just designed for weight loss but for overall health. They even try to keep the sodium down as much as they can. (which is good because many diabetics have trouble with their blood pressure) Ask your dietitian and make sure you read the labels. BTW, I think their tomato sauce actually tastes better than any of the other jarred sauces I have ever tried before. I often eat their TV dinners also. My favourite is the Beef tips Portabello.

I would say check the labels and also make sure you are aware of your fluid intake too-i took my father in law recently to his doctor and he had been retaining water bad and she asked that he steer clear of too many fluids because he was getting enough from the water he drinks. And that also included jello, watermelon and popsicles.

Not necessarily. YOu have to check the ingredients label & nutrition label to see if the sugar content is acceptable.

Sure... Assuming the sugar content is low enough.
Be sure to check the labels (if it is an american-purchase)
