It could be a sign of insulin reaction to your body - this usually happen when you are new to insulin and that your body has not adjusted to it. Some people have reaction and goes away quickly and some people are just plain allergic to the kind of onsulin.
There are several different kinds of insulin - go see your doctor and show your symptoms. Maybe you need other kind.

It might be the type of insulin you are taking. You could talk to your dr about switching. For example, humolog and novolog are very similar in reaction times and strengths so you could ask your dr about switching between the two. I just saw an advertisement at my endos office last week for an insulin inhaler too. I don't really know anything about it but it looks like it is for Type 2 diabetics. http://www.exubera.com

There is an inhaler out for diabetics but talk to your doctor first and make sure it isn't just the brand or type you are using. Does injecting it make you nervous? I was at first. When I get stressed, I get rashes. Check with your doctor first and see what he says.
