I agree with you and some people need to stop and think about what else would change in this country as well. Some people don't seem to see or realize what a huge work force we would lose...and many of us are too lazy to do some of the hard, labor intensive work.

or
Start heading for the border.
You do know Taco Bell is owned by Pepsico which also owns KFC and Pizza Hut.
Not to mention Taco Bell food is far from authentic Mexican Cuisine.

LOL I never see any Mexicans working at the Taco Bell, your reaching..However if the Mexicans were deported we would not get avocados, cheap labor, etc. I say let them stay they are here already, any new illegals need to come in legally.
PS I love a good Carne Asada Burrito form The Burto's chain, you know Humbertos, Alberto's, Ulberto's etc..they are in San Diego and stay open 24 hours. Great after party grub .

Taco bell is not Mexican food. They went out of business in Mexico after a few months in the 1990s because no one wanted it.

Taco Bell is an american food place. It is like when they say Pizza is Italian. Well, not like pizza as we here in America know it. I love Mexican food and I have Mexican recipe books so I don't need you to cook my food. I will make it myself thank you very much.

Okey, dokey, here we go again! First off, Taco Bell, Taco John and all those were designed/invented/whatever by people living in the U.S., not Mexico, the same about pizza or Chinese...these foods WERE DEVELOPED by people from Mexico, Italy, or China, but developed within the borders of the U.S.
Secondly, the people of Mexico got these foodstuffs from the Indians in the first place, so if you want to call them "Mexican foods", me, being one of the People, will call them "Indian Foods"!
Thirdly, if you have travelled at all, you know that peoples in Spain, the Philippines and other countries make similar products.
Fourthly, scientists proved over and over that, if you blind fold a person, that person cannot tell what he/she/it is eating.
CONCLUSION: This means who gives a hoot? In the overall scheme of things, it makes no difference at all.
My wife is Filipina; I will stick to the lumpia! And Indian foods...! Yum!!!

Authentic Mexican food is not so well known in Europe, mostly just the fast food type with pre-made tacos and tinned chilli beans. The nearest equivalent if you like hot chilli is to get some North African couscous recipe food with harissa sauce. Harissa is made from red hot pimento peppers from Cap Bon and will spice up any gringo dinner
