Some people are allergic to soy, but there is no truth that it is bad for everybody. Most of the anti-soy propaganda was funded by companies that sell meat; lying with statistics is nothing new.
You missed one, cochineal is a red food coloring made from an insect.
The USA does not require genetically modified foods to be labelled. I have called my state representative and wrote a protest song about it; I'm not sure what else I can do. Bomb Monsanto? It's right here in my home town, but prison doesn't fit in with the rest of my plans.

You are completely wrong.
Soy is only bad for you if you're a test animal being force-fed unhealthy amounts of soy by itself. You're reading the wrong information, sweetheart.
We know to look out for "natural flavouring". Sodium caseinate is derived from milk. We know that. Besides, people shouldn't eat Doritos anyway; so bad for you.
Most gelatins are derived from animal sources. That's why smart vegans buy only vegetarian gelatins, and avoid stuff that is unclear. It's not that hard.
Rennet is not vegetarian. We know that. Rennet is added to dairy cheese; a vegan would not be eating it. We might eat vegan cheese made from grains, nuts, or soy.
Monsanto is bad. We all know that. I work at an organic grocery store so I can be closer to the good food. Non-GMO.
It does not take that long to research everything. There are good sources everywhere. I have a list of animal-derived ingredients on my iPod so I can refer to it when I'm shopping and not sure where something has come from, and a list of companies that do not test on animals in a little leaflet in my wallet.
Just stop being so badly informed, and do better research. It shouldn't take that long.

I'm not sure what the point of all this is, except just to bash vegans as usual. There is no hint of a question in your tirade, just misinformation.
As others have said, you are not telling anybody anything new. When people first embark on a vegan lifestyle, it does take a little bit of research to know what is ok and what is not, but after that we know and just don't buy the stuff with animal products in it. It's not nearly as hard as you make it out to be, but guess what? Even if it were that hard, most vegans I know would do it anyway because a few minutes extra at the grocery store seems a small price to pay for saving the lives of hundreds of animals per year.
The real question is, of course, why do you care? Meat eaters have this really strange habit of coming on here and telling us we're not "vegetarian enough" because we might have accidentally eaten a cracker with whey in it once, when they are personally responsible for the death and torture of so many sentient creatures. Strange.

lol, whats a veganitarian? Whens your birthday? I will send you a dictionary. By the way there is a spell checker on y!a try using it to avoid embarrassing situations such as this. It is bad enough your rant is so goofy to begin with. Just an fyi, most VEGANATARIANUSAURASUS are pretty well researched in the area of their diets. Most start as vegetarians and evolve from there. I don't know any vegans who think all gelatin comes from seaweed. And just out of curiosity, if you don't care what foods we eat...whats the reason for your rant? I am curious what kind of junk you are putting into yourself. If you are not vegan I could only imagine. I am sure its a hell of a lot worse than our genetically modified fishy vegetables..

Most have done the research and know on sight what to look for... As for the dna... humans have what percentage of their genome that is useless and purely that of ancient viral code? does that make me a virus? No it makes me a human with code in my genes that has been there for ages, inserted by viruses in my ancestors, and passed on to me through time. What is it you are actually trying to tell me that I do not know? I should read the labels and explore what I put in my body before I do so? I believe that it could be deduced by understanding the word vegetarian that I already do so. Thank you for being concerned that I am not eating anything from the animal kingdom... but I as many here, have been concerned enough to explore what ingredients are in cheese and the sources of the rennet. It is not a label that we attach to ourselves to be, "vegetarian" of any degree. It is a choice in what we do that has deemed we have that label, no more, no less. The meat eating avoidance is the easy part as any veggie will tell you... it is the other that makes it complicated... and so it is the meat eaters who come here and aren't educated enough in the diet who bring these ridiculous questions we answer... not us... maybe you would be better served speaking to the trolls that come in here and let them know just how little the flesh part is as far as only scratching the surface of what most here do. That might in itself spark an intelligent question instead of "How do you like your steak?"

Its perfectly possible to live a healthy lifestyle on a vegetarian diet. But, personally i don't care if my diet is really unhealthy, thats not why i'm veggie. Having said that, 27 years as a veggie running an arable farm and 3 businesses concurrently probably points to me being decently fit and healthly. Yesterday i donated bone marrow, today i'm back at home ( should be in 'opital for 5 days ) - does that sound unhealthy to you ??
You have obviously never been one, and i doubt you have spent any time looking at this because all your comments are so false.
We all know about geletine, we all know about veggie and non-veggie rennet, we all know about "nautural" ingredients and thier potential to be from animal sources, what are earth do you think we do to find out what is veggie ?? We read labels, we ask the manufacturers.
"exhaustive time researching every food ingrediant" - No, rubbish, it takes about 10 minutes more to do a weekly shop, thats all.
If you have any real or logical arguement, lets hear it.

Most people who call themselves vegan know all that already. Also, there's a lot of research, including studies by the American Heart Association, that show that eating meat can lead to Coronary Heart Disease and other diseases like Diabetes.

Thank you for informing everyone of information they already knew. By the way the soy claims are a myth put out by the American Dairy Association. These claims have been proven flase on numerous occasions. Soy is extremely healthy in moderation. Like everything, too much of a good thing can be bad.

people dont become vegans because of a "healthier than meat diet", they do it because they dont want to eat meat, meat products, eggs, milk or animal products.
I eat ORGANIC veggies so that they're not GM foods. I do research the ingrediants in my foods.
youre post really was pretty pointless, because you answered your own questions.

I am happy I dont eat up poor animals, my reason for being a veggie is coz I am human, and so I feel sympathy for other creatures, true I can't go on looking into everything and dissecting its each component, but I am happy that my food stuff may sometimes have animal extracts, but it aint my fault, sometimes little insects get into ur mouth too while u're driving but that doesnt make u a non vegetarian, just like that my accidentally eating up animal extracts is also an accident and I am sure our Lord wil forgive me for that.
