I have an idea for a cute game.....Have the kids stand in a circle and with a stuffed animal bug...pass it around the circle with music and then when the music is off...the person with the bug will be out until the last kid with the bug WINS !
Kinda like musical chairs but with a stuffed bug...Hope this helps!! :D

I also have children. 2 boys as a matter of fact and one of them likes bugs too. In your local Wal Mart or even in K mart they have party favors. You will find rubber, or stretchy worms, spiders, flys, ect...... You can also go to Spencers in any mall and find fake ice cubes with flys in them. Depending on if that will gross you out or not. You can also make a fly cake. You will need two round cake pans. make a triple layer cake. with the fourth round you cut in half and make the wings. Decorate accordingly. Use your imagination with the colors of icing. You could also make a triple layer round cake and turn it into an ant hill very easily. This is just a few ways to save money by making your own cake. As for games, they have the game cooties, and ants in pants game. hope I have helped some. take care and Happy Birthday to your son from all us here in my house.

What a cute theme!

You can turn hot dogs into creepy-crawlies, Ritz crackers into spiders, cucumbers into caterpillars, and Oreos into butterflies. Find out how on this bug-theme party page: http://www.passion-for-parties.com/bug-theme-party.html

There are other fun ideas for this theme on that page, as well.

Good luck and have fun!

For food all you need to do is get those chocalate pudding snacks and get some gummy worms and some oreo cookies. The kids can make ter own put the gummy worms and the oreos in the chocalate pudding and call it Worms Mud or something.

you can make a game something like pin the tail on the donkey but make it pertaining to bugs like maybe a bee or ant that tries to get clossest to his hive or ant hole the closest is the winner you might have to make it out of construction paper i did this with cut out drawings of race cars and the one that placed his car closest to the finish line won. and with the construction paper let them design their own bug face mask to wear or you could play hid and seek for a prize for whoever finds the hidden bugs that you can buy at a dollar general one thats pretty large so they won't have much trouble finding them have fun my friend!

Bugs are not food. Do not try to make food out of them. Thank you.
