the test he is discribing is a GC/Chlyam test not an HSV test. the only way to be sure that and you have it is by having an IgG type specific blood test. many people with HSv do not know that they even have it.

If you are pregnant then keep a close watch on yourself and if any kind of pain or sore go get tested as you do not want to have any open sore at least 2 wks before the baby is due. Even if your irst test was negative, it may be you just didn't have symptoms.
It is possible to have herpes w/o knowing it and yet it also is possible NOT to give it to another. My ex husband and I lived together 16 yrs and he claims he never got it.
I would be concerned if he is a) still seeing her, and b) is he gonna step up to the plate and be a Dad??

Tell him nicely that you would really feel better if he would get a copy of the results or have it done again. He could be telling the truth, especially if they used a condom. Some people have just been known to be lucky at Russian Roulette. And congrats on being a mommy in waiting!!!

I'm sorry, but **** that. If you want to have a child with someone, nothing is more important then trust. If you can't trust him, you do not deserve to be in a relationship with him. Deal with it, or you will never truly be happy.

i would believe him if he said he got tested,,BUT,,,just because he didn't have it then doesn't mean he doesn't have it now,,he should get tested again for you & his safety,,and also he may not have ever been infected with it,,good luck
