I've had durian a few different way, and the only way I liked it was in a Vietnamese Tapioca drink. It leaves a weird aftertaste that I don't care for.

Heck no... It stinks and taste like rotten onions.
I don't know why people call it the "King of Fruits" there is no sweetness to it at all.
It must be one of those ironic phrases... like nicknaming a football player who's 6'5" (170 cm) and 250 lb (115 kg), "Tiny".
King of Fruits is NOT.
