Yes! I am a first generation vegetarian. My spouse and three children are all vegetarians. I had my last hambuger in January 1979. That's the last time I ate meat. I was college bound on a Grey hound bus, and made the decision at a Greyhound bus station during my layover. I ate that last Hamburger and from that point I never looked to eat meat again. It also helped that I enrolled at a four year Christian College that did not prepare or serve meat to their student body.
Their is much variety in Vegetarianism today. You can live without meat. you will feel better and it is healthier for your body and mind.
Nice post.

yes.. for 25 years. my health has improved... (not all the issues are gone but most have taken a hike thankfully) i'm thinner.. i don't look my age... (they always are off approx. 20 years! YAY!) i still have all my hair... no zits... (unless i don't wash for days.. yuck) no GERD... no sore throat.. no clogged sinuses... i'm not tired.. i feel great most of the time unless i get a virus... but i don't get sick often... (if i get a cold every 3 years that's pretty bad).....
don't get headaches... no heartburn... teeth are all in my mouth... no major dramas with health (yet) :D crosses my fingers...
when i went to my last high school reunion... (snickers) everyone was like "what! you've not aged a bit" :D i've aged but i don't look as bad as most.
there's so much more but i'd waste bandwidth.
i'm happy.... i get good sleep, i don't tire easily and my mind is pretty sharp yet... (yet)
i still feel like a little rug rat most times... it can be annoying for those around me.. because i wear them out.
OH and um... the orgasms are FANTASTIC!

Yes! For almost 3 years!
I do eat dairy (sour cream, yogurt, cheese and ice cream), but I try to make sure it's hormone free or organic.
I also eat seafood because Salmon is soooo healthy and I can't live without Lobster, Crab and Shrimp once in a while. I love all fish!

no, but I don't get angry at people who are, I think we all have our likes and dislikes and when we start thrashing out at people our insecurities are showing.
