Personally, I would go to a cardiologist. Mainly because of your past history. You can have records forwarded from your previous doctor prior to your visit so that the new doctor can get a glimpse of your past. Avoid family practice doctors, as they may just tell you it is stress due to moving.

I would say go to a cardiologist. But you usually need a referral for that. Besides, you probably don't want to wait long to be seen (can often take days to weeks to be seen by a cardiolgist who is not already your doc.) The quickest, but most expensive, way to a cardiologist would be an ER. If you need to, then do so.
Even at your local clinic you will be seen by a general practitioner first. I would start with them first. It will be cheaper. With your history, I am sure they will want to do some blood work and an ECG.

Make an appointment with a physician who specializes in internal medicine. Going to a cardiologist is diagnosing yourself with a heart problem -- not something you want to do. Perhaps you have a lung problem. However you don't know that and should not go to a pulmonary specialist.
An internal medicine specialist will give you the diagnosis you need.

MOST HEART DR'S DO REQUIRE A RE FERAL. If YOU HAD A HEART DR IN ANOTHER STATE, TRY GETTING THEM TO GIVE YOU A RE FERAL. THEY CAN FAX IT TO THE NEW DR YOU WISH TO SEE. Maybe even your MD will fax a re feral if you know the Dr you wish to see. EITHER WAY, YOU DO NEED TO SEE A HEART DR. [asap] The symptoms do not sound good. If you were ever a smoker, you may also need to see a lung Dr. I hope this is not the case. Until you do see a heart Dr, stay away from cig. smoke.
Good luck with finding a good cardio. Dr.

Already you had an heart attack 11 yrs ago, what are you waiting for? Please contact an ER you can require a cardiologist's opinion.
No use wasting time on the web, if you have your sublingual nitrates, take one immediately, and follow the above instruction, OK.
