If you have shaved pubic hair(completely) can you still get crabs?

don't they need pubic hair to "hold on" to? And I mean completely shaved BEFORE exposure.

technically speaking crabs need thick hair to grab onto, so pubic hair, or hair in the vacinity, i.e. butt hair are all at risk of being grabbed onto. so you would really need a brazilian to avoid possbile grabbing of crabs.

but this leads to a segway, during a class on sex ed, a nurse told us that some unfortunate blokes who are rather hairy have in extreme conditions had to use the medicine to kill off crabs on their entire body, the only hair that can't be held onto by grabs as far as i know is head hair. so the only viable option really available for complete avoidance of hair grabbing by crabs is a full body wax. (although some people have fine body hair i am unsure on the exact thickness)

Since "crabs" are a form of lice one can still get them hair or not. They can only be "caught" through sexual contact. If you don't have "crabs" then you may be itching from the stubble left after you having shaved.
