I am 32 years old and have been having chest pains forever, atleast 9 months or longer but they seem to be getting worse and is accompanied by severe nausea, shortness of breath, pain on the left side, and around to the back. I have told my doc about this so many times and he just keeps telling me its anxiety but it is really starting, well has been, to scare me! Do you think this sounds like a heart attack? It's worse after I eat and I have noticed if I drink caffeine it makes it worse so that is cut out! Please let me know what you think. By the way I don't smoke or drink.

Hi Sweetness. Sorry to hear about your suffering. The symptoms you describe can be caused by a hiatal hernia. You may want to see your family Chiropractor. He/she can diagnose the hernia and reduce it with manual therapy.

Best wishes and good luck.

Please, try to get a 2nd opinion if you can. I've seen cases like this where a doctor would say it's not a big deal, then the next day the person dies from a heart attack or something else.

Please get 2nd & 3rd opinion if your "Doc" can't remedy your condition he should referr you to someone who can. Lose that "Jack leg physician"!
