i'm not trying to second guess her but when she's asking me for advise and when i care very much for my family it really worries me, i'm a mother of two myself and i would be mad at myself if i were my sister, but then again she's only 20 and this is her second child and expecting another one so should i worry or not? thank u!!!

carbon monoxide poisoning is extremely dangerous and can end fatally, especially in a young child. explain this to your sister. her son has obviously been exposed to this gas, and most likely in a place he is frequently in. she should get a carbon monoxide alarm in her house, and have it checked for dangerous levels of it. if she is still naive about it, buy the alarm yourself. maybe her actually knowing it exists will open her eyes. i hope it doesnt take her sons health to teach her. good luck (:

Get a new detector of carbon monoxide and smoke. This due to the emissions of gas in the house. She should ventilate the house a lot, open the windows and doors and keep the battery working. When beeping, check the level of c. m. Careful!

The dangers are brain damage and death. You need to tell your sister to find out where the co2 is coming from before someone gets hurt or dies.Call the gas or propane company to check out her furnace quick.Brain damage is not reversible and can occur within minutes of being deprived of oxygen

Just because she's not telling you anything, doesn't mean the boy didn't get treated. She probably did what the doctor told her to do. You were not there.

Nothing makes me madder as a mom than being second guessed by someone who is not there!
