Could this be an HPV wart?

I just found out I have HPV,but have never had a breakout or any idea I had it until my abnormal pap smear.

My ex boyfriend had a small bump on the tip of his penis for the duration of our relationship- he said it had been there as long as her remembered.Could this have been a genital wart? It was quite small,like a tiny pimple,but with no redness.

It might have been a genital wart. Genital warts are usually small and flesh colored. They are also not painful, which might be why your ex didn't think it was that big of a deal.

I was diagnosed with HPV over 6 years ago by an abnormal pap smear which eventually turned into cervical cancer. Then about 5 years later I developed genital warts.

Genital warts can take several months and even years to show up, if they ever do. Good luck and take care!

Yes it is possible that is where u got it frm. Most ppl dont kno they hav HPV until they see a Dr. or actually get warts. There are no test for men & only find out they have the virus thru genital warts. HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) can take from a few months to yrs for any symptoms to occur. Example Genital Warts & abnormal paps. Usually Low risk HPV 6 & 11 cause genital warts but other forms of HPV can also cause them. High Risk HPV normally dont have symptoms other then abnormal paps so u might be at high risk for cervical cancer. Make sure to get regular paps and eat healthy as well as exercise.

Yeah that's probobly where you got it from. I don't think HPV warts are painful, but i'm really not sure. Check some sites on line and do some research you probobly can even find some pictures of the warts to compare.

OMG why are we in the same predicument, I just found out I have it too and my husband I noticed 2months ago he had a small bump or something on his tip too but it had already turned to a scab
