What is a machine that grounds a carrot into a tptally smooth paste. The consistency of peanut butter lets say. I know a regular food processor won't do it. A blander wont without a lot of water added in. A meat grinder won't get it that smooth. There must be a machine that does this. Anybody know what it is. Thanks.

A food mill will turn the cooked carrots into a baby food like puree. A good food mill costs about 50 dollars at a kitchen store, but is worth the investment. A potato ricer (about 10 dollars) will semi puree them, but then you need to mash them with a fork to get them finer. A food mill is the best option. Also, if you use a juice extractor, the pulp will be fine enough as a puree.

First you should blanch or par cook them then run through a food mill or a fine ricer the ultimate tool would be a Chinois though it will give you the smoothest consistency and is what chefs use to make perfectly smooth creamed soups and pate's. Good Luck!
