If I have, why? I'm not trying to be a smart alick for once, I just want to know what was it about my questions/answers that offended you? I am actually doing a report on the reactions of different groups (mostly vegetarians) to people opposing there life style. I don't expect anyone to believe me, but it is true. Thanks!

Prodigy- You have a good point. No my research did not find vegetarians rude. While some were rude, the majority of them retaliated with facts, and many had very good points. Instead of the biased opinions that I receaved in other sections, I actually learned some things from that I did not know before.

While books are obviously the best choice for research, I also wanted to get some on hand opinions. Thankyou for your responces.

You have to understand that you are purposely trying to offend people, which in amongst itself is offensive, be it vegetarians, or any other person.

Also what kind of report is this? The information you gather is flawed, therefore invalid. You need to look at why you are getting the reaction you are getting. I am going to make a guess here and say you "data" shows that vegetarians are rude and not tolerant of other people opposing their lifestyle. If I'm wrong correct me.

Why is it invalid? You are attacking others beliefs, not just once but multiple times. Purposely insulting people by asking questions in a section that is for people who are vegetarian to discuss their ideas, beliefs, etc. Your attack is automatically going to make people defensive. You may say that you did nothing wrong and only ask about cooking chicken, etc., but for people who have been here(in the vegetarian and vegan section) for a long time, we see intolerant trolls every day and since your questions are the same, you are no different than any other troll here.

I suggest you do real research, which involves books, journal articles, etc. Any real teacher would tell you that your research methods border on harassment of the group you are "studying" and full of errors, as well as prove nothing(which should be the reason for the research in the first place.)

People reactions to trolls are far different to how they react in real life. For example I see you are home schooled, what if I said home schooled children are not as smart as children in actual school? They are also socially behind and prone to intolerance of others? Would you be offended(be honest now)? If I posted this in the home-school section on Answers what kind of reaction do you think I would get? I'll tell you it would be negative, since I was the one who provoked, insulted and attacked something that many people see as the right choice. Now if my second question was more tame(like yours were "I want to home school my child, I don't want him to be stupid what should I do" Would I get the same reaction as the first? Probably, since although I'm not outright saying home schooled children are stupid I am still implying. With the reactions I get I am bound to conclude that all home schooled people are intolerant of others and are opposed to anyone that doesn't agree that home schooling is the right choice. Are my finds valid? No, the research was bias.

Again I suggest you choose a report that has valid conclusions. Not opinion based, or the result of harassing people to the point where they become offensive. Personally it doesn't teach you anything(which is what school is all about), and its annoying.

If that is your goal, writing a paper about people when people oppose their lifestyle, then none of this data is valid. From what I've seen of your questions, it's all asking how to cook certain meats. That's isn't opposing anyone's lifestyle, that's posting something you hope will entice a response.

Think of it this way, if someone went on a Christianity Q&A site and asked about how to honor the Hindu god Ganesha, it would just be out of place. It wouldn't be opposing Chrsitianity in the least bit.

Opposing vegetarianism would be asking things like "Vegetarians are wrong. Here is why _____________, how can you do that?" then documenting that response. Just asking how to cook a meat does not confront any ideaologies about vegetarianism.

I am not a vegetarian, and I do not think that you are a freak or weird. I think it's great that you have made your decisions based on your personal feelings. I don't know why people respond so poorly to it. I am sure it's due to their insecurity and their lack of any understanding as to why someone would choose to not eat animal products. I grew up with it, and I like it, but I am not a "meat pusher" or anything hilarious like that. Be proud of your choices and know that not all meat eaters think you are a freak. I respect your choice, I salute your ability to stick with your beliefs, even when they are not the same as mine. You know if more people could think this way about others, we wouldn't need war...

rubbish, utter rubbish.

You did not post a question saying you disagreed with our moral choice. you posted a childish question designed to hurt people and goad them into a response so you could, in turn, pretend to be the innocent party - exactly what a troll does.

I doubt you are writing any report, no one wth any logic would go about it that way. I suspect you are just back-tracking to stop getting banned.

If you are "doing research" then i am now EVEN MORE offended. Who the hell are you to mess about with people like this ? You have lost any chance of getting decent answers or respect on here in the future.

You do really need to pack up the home schooling strategy, its not giving you the social skills you are going to need in life. Behave anything like throughout your life and one day someone will give you a decent slap.

Sorry, but it is not possible to offend plant life.... I don't oppose your lifestyle, but then stupid people have never bothered me before. Just keep following the sun OK? From the east in the morning to the west, OK?
The next day rinse and repeat...

Of utmost importance when attempting to insult, impugn or undermine someones life style... always check your spelling... get it... check your spelling .... You are doing a report... check your spelling...

I have tons of friends that are meat eaters, and a lot of times they tease me about not eating meat. I tease them too and of course it's all just a joke. I know they're not trying to offend me.
However it looks like you're trying to offend people on purpose, and that's what makes people angry. I don't believe any report would make you purposely offend people. I think you're making it up. I realize you're young, and maybe you think this is funny, but you have to realize, that in the end you're not hurting anyone but your own image.

Well, I have seen you post questions about cooking meat in the vegetarian section and while that doesn't offend me it makes me think you must be very stupid to keep asking questions in the wrong section. What you have done that offended me was ask a question in the global warming section about whether or not you should pick up the McDonald's you littered. Throwing trash on the ground and leaving it there is not funny at all. Your profile is also quite offensive when you state "I can't stand the following: Homosexuality, preps, goths..."

I think you really need to grow up a bit.

Oh, and this doesn't really have anything to do with you, but I find it appalling that people who post such blatant violations manage to get away with it while some of our top contributors are being banned for no reason. Plus my sister has had two accounts banned now and she never posted anything offensive or antagonizing on either of them.

You are lying. Again. Did I mention you have the talent of not being able to spell? Stop playing games and find a hobby. We all know you are not a pork chop oven cooking, researching 14 year old. A racist? Maybe so..but still not welcome here.

I can't recall you offending me in any way.

You asked some silly questions about cooking pork chops and chicken that I guess were supposed to be annoying, but I don't really care.
