the dr. said our daughter's ekg revealed some s t flats ? anyone know what that means ?

she did have an episode with chest pain , radiating into the arm , the paramedics came and gave her an ekg , told her she was ok .no problem . she does burn the candle at both ends . always in a hurry , impatient etc

The S-T segment of the EKG is supposed to be flat. There is elevation or depression of the S-T segment if there is a problem. The doctor was trying to tell you that your daughter's EKG is normal. Try to relax and try to help your daughter find ways to relax.

Your daughters normal. You dont worry about flat ST segments . You only worry if they are peaked or deeply notched which mean 2 different things.
