I think it is okay for you in moderation...but it has a high sodium content and lots of preservatives...don't substitute this for your vegetable servings. If you can, try fresh vegetables/juice instead. They tend to offer more healthful benefits.

No, I don't drink V8. It's disgusting. I have a juicer and I've make my own version before...it tastes NOTHING like V8. I laugh at their claim that it's all-natural anything.
It also has a lot of salt - even the reduced sodium type has a huge portion of your daily value.

I like v-8, it is healthier than most of the stuff on the market as far as juice, soda, whatever, but it seems kinda like false advertising when they say it has a full serving of vegetables in it because most of the fiber that is in the veggies is removed when making it in to juice. And ditto on the low sodium thing. Fresh juice is best, but in a tight spot I think V-8 is pretty good.

I ocassionaly drink V8, I buy then in the 6 oz can and the low sodium version. If you are going to drink it, deffinatly fo for the lower-sodium kind. The 6 oz can has 30 calories and its a full serving of vegetables.
Hope that helps!

The low sodium V-8 is delicious, in my opinion.
Regular V-8 has way too much salt to drink. Try the low sodium version.

Sure they're good for you. Atleast better than a soda or "juice"
filled with high fructose corn syrup.
But get the low sodium variety.
Regular V-8 is LOADED with sodium.

I do drink it some, cause I like it. I find it a great filling snack. But ideally Fresh made juice is best.

High in sodium. Pasteurized. I wouldn't bother.
Get a juicer. Make your own tomato juice. Spice it up any way you want and get more nutritional benefits from it.
