Number one, venus flytraps are poisonous which is why people don't eat them. Number two, every plant and fungus has "eaten" an animal. They take in the nutrients from decaying remains of plants and animals in the soil, so there's not really much of a difference. The important thing to most vegetarians is that they are eating something that does not feel pain.

Are they even edible? Do they taste good? Gimme a break..it they were, they would be in the produce section of the supermarket. News for you...vegetarians are not the only ones that eat veggies...99.9% of people eat vegetables. That said...eat a fly trap and let us know what happens.
