go to coolest-birthday-cakes.com, click on 'theme cakes' and there are about a dozen Noah's Ark cakes. Sounds like a very cool party. You can also Google Noah's Ark birthday, and there are lots of good sites. I loved doing birthday parties for my kids when they were young- always a blast!

First, have a happy birthday sign and a cake of noah's ark. If you can't find a cake like that, you can bake an ice cream cake (kids love that) with blue waves and a sailboat on the top. To eat, you could serve small finger sandwiches, but since most of them are babies, then you could put baby food (f.e. gerber's). As party gifts, you could give the kids a medium-sized toy sailboat and some small stuffed animals. Just make sure the kids (babies) can't swallow them!!!

if the kids are going to dress up as animals then give them favors according to their costumes.
Tiger Cub Magnetic Frame
Difficulty: Easy
Share Comment Add to FavoritesPrint Surround a favorite picture with something special when you craft this tiger cub magnetic frame. You can add an exotic jungle flair to your other magnetized fridge decorations.
What you'll need:
Printable pattern (see below)
Tiger print Flexi-Foam by Fibre Craft
Black Flexi-Foam by Fibre Craft
White Flexi-Foam by Fibre Craft
Scissors
Pen
Tacky glue
Heavy duty magnet
this way the kids can remember the birthday party for years to come and they can remember how they dressed for it.
Don’t go overboard with a birthday party theme—the theme is the first birthday and that is all you really need. Your baby is only turning one; activities and games should be kept to a minimum or left out altogether. A one-year-old simply doesn't have the skills or attention span required to participate in games and structured activities. It is best to just sit back and let the partygoers do their own thing. This is the one birthday that is more for you than for your baby—don’t miss out on your baby’s enjoyment by over-planning.
Keep the birthday party short—2 to 3 hours is fine. Many babies find this kind of activity over-stimulating. Keeping it short reduces the risk of birthday-baby meltdown.
This may be the first time your baby tries cake. Unless you want those birthday clothes completely covered in icing and ice-cream, snap a "Baby’s First Birthday" bib around your baby’s neck before dishing out the cake.
Since the first birthday is not one your baby will remember, you will want something special to save as a keepsake for your baby. Many parents choose the traditional silver cup engraved with the baby’s name. A silver or gold charm or necklace engraved with your baby’s initial or the number one is a newer twist on the first birthday gift. A classic first birthday gift is a baby dish set made of fine china or a porcelain tea set. Many babies at this age love push and pull toys that can follow them around like wooden pets or interactive games and toys that flash and beep.
There are many ways to make your baby’s first birthday memorable and enjoyable for all. The most important keepsake of this momentous birthday is pictures. Take plenty of pictures. Your baby will not remember the day or the toys, but the pictures will show your teenager how well loved and celebrated they were on their first birthday.
hope this helps you a bit. i would also used iced animal crackers and animal theme toys for favors but nothing very small. good luck.

here's a link i found, hpe it will help
http://www.coolest-kid-birthday-parties.com/first-birthday-party-idea.html
you can also play a movie about the story of noah's ark. or have a great storyteller tell the story of noah's ark.
play memory games (print out double pictures of animals that you can find inside noah's ark and print 'em in big cardboards or on construction papers) and have the kids for 2 groups. then each person takes their turn matching pairs of animals
you can give out mini photo frames of noah's ark as party gifts.
hope i helped.

Check this out...........they don't have Noah's Ark exactly, but they do have many versions of animal cakes, including cupcakes that look like all sorts of animals, and they also have seasonal and Christmas themes, games, menus, etc...
This is my sister's favorite site.

skip giving 1yos party favors.
use green streamers and balloons for decorations
at 1yo it's just not worth decorating and going all out- at that age they are more fascinated by boxes and balloons than anything else. they won't remember it either.
our friends just had their daughters 1st bday on saturday. they did white table cloths. and a few hanging decorations that said 1yo and baby and the such. nothing else for decorations.
food was pizza, chips, cake, veggies and crackers with dip.

He's a year old, for crying out loud!!!! He won't remember the doggone thing tomorrow!! Just bake him a cake, and he'll be fine! Just remember...if you go overboard now, you've got 20 more years to do more and more. Keep it simple while you can.

How about animal booties like in the link below:

If these seem a bit pricey, check at babies r us or target or walmart - they might have something similar.
