Since you are new to the area, contact the tourist bureau and find out the great sites your new city has to offer. Pick out the best spots to visit, find a favorite spot of the locals to eat and stay overnight in one of the better hotels. You'll learn something about your new city, meet some of the locals and have an overnight stay in a hotel ( away from the stress of having a little one ) and arrive home refreshed to return to the e real world. If it's still nice weather, pack a basket lunch ( or get fried chicken, salads, etc and some cake from the market), plus the champagne and glasses and go to a park or scenic place, spread a blanket and enjoy. If after dark, add candles.

Well, it depends on your budget, but there is plenty to do. Romantic dinner, away from home and the baby will be a big treat for the both of you. Also, is this an all day, all night, or over night plan? Just being together without other distractions is wonderful.

i just took my gf to a really nice hotel that had a river walk inside and an atrium we spent the day n i didnt pay too much bc we didnt get a room but that might be fun for u two i kno me and her had a great time

sounds like you might be in the Ft. Bragg area. If you are, try going to Luigi's Italian Restaurant and Bar. Daughter and her hubby went there for a celebration, and really enjoyed it.
