I bought an 8-pack for 8 bucks at Sam's club. Beware though...they aren't as bright as incandescent bulbs.

Walmart and Target both carry them. a 3 pack of GE brand costs around $8.00 but the lights last for 4 to 5 years. Sometime longer. Home Improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowes also carries them. They run about the same price there. Sometimes you can find a larger pack for the same price or a little more.

I have found they are worth the price you pay.

I've seen them in the grocery store and the hardware store. I've gotten them in value packs. I don't remember exactly, but I think I paid $6 for 3. Does add up...Our bill seems to be going down and we've changed 9 so far.

your local power company will often have rebates for you to buy them dropping the cost to less than a dollar each.

feit electric makes the best ones, they can take power surges and regular use with out breaking.

they also come in many colors, the ones I find pre-discounted in walmart are to whiteish for me, so I end up paying about 8 $ each for them at my local hardware store to get the daylight or softwhite versions.

Don't buy "made in China". It will die pretty soon.

You can spend the same $1 for 4 incandescent bulbs made in USA by GE that will last 2 times longer.

Walmart has them. Don't tell me there is no Walmart near you! Home Depot has them. Almost every supermarket has them. They are not hard to find.
