Vaccines do NOT cure illnesses, they only PREVENT them.
There is a HSV2 vaccine in the works right now and if it is approved by the FDA it should be released in 2008. It's called Herpevac and has only been shown to be effective in preventing the virus in women, not men.
If a person already has HSV2 it will have NO affect on them and will NOT cure them of the virus.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/Herpestreatments2o15CyTG
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

to cure - no. but hopefully to prevent. the vaccine - herpevax - only works in women that are HSV I&II negitive. it prevents ~35% of all cases of HSVII and causes infections but not the disease in another ~35% so it is allowed to claim at least 70% effectiveness. it is in phase III clinical trials right now.

Not likely. Vaccine may control HSV but it can not impact latent infected cells
