Yesterday, my partner and I had sex. I then took a shower. For the last two days, my pee has been burning. This morning I woke up to pee, and my vagina started itching. This has never happened to be. I've had UTI, and yeast infections, but never both symptoms at once. I did a search, and saw that these could be symptoms of Chlamydia and gonorrhea. I'm scared to death it may be that. He said he's clean, but then again, hes used a condom with all of his other sexual partners. If I'd have gotten it from someone else, I believe I would have had symptoms much earlier than this. Could I have an STI like this, or do you think I'm just overreacting and it's just a UTI or yeast infection? I'm going to the doctors today, but if I can get answers before 9AM, it might ease my mind.

Dun worry, in my own opinion, judging from the way u describe, it is definately not STI, so no worries for now till u see the doc.

It is possible to have a UTI and a yeast infection at the same time. Sex can irritate both conditions. You need to see a doctor for the UTI because you will need antibiotics.

The advice to use condoms is sound, but you must remember, even condoms do not offer 100% protection from STDs. Herpes, for example can still be contracted while using a condom, as well as HIV.

The only 100% safely proven method is abstinence.

Well for one you need to get checked out. did you know that woman that have gotten chlamydia wont have any symptoms (i had to find that out the hard way)But if it turns out that you have something you should get the person that you are with now and who ever else you have sex with tested. I hope that it will be OK.

You could have had a reaction to the soap you used after sex or any creams, foams, lubricants, etc. Or you could have an STD. You are wise to be checked and unwise to not use protection....HIV is rampant and people that you may think are least likely to have it will surprise you. Purchase yourself some condoms and insist your partner use them.

Sounds like a yeast infection. If it smells like beer or bread it probably is. Go see the GYN.

if there is no vaginal discharge it might be UTI
if there is vaginal discharge it might be STD or candida
in the hospital they will take a sample from this discharge and Analise it to know what the exact cause

If you would only apply what your Creator has told you, you wouldn't even have this worry.
