I've heard that it helps in insulin production, but I'd ask a doctor who would know for sure. If you're at risk of type 2 diabetes, it won't help a bit. Keep your carbs and sugars low and exercise. Just parking in the lot far from stores and work helps, and snacks after supper have to stop.

Never heard of that. You will need to stay away from junk food, high carb food, cut back on calories with each meal, eat 6 small meals a day and exercise. That will keep your sugar lower.
