Yes, some STDs can be spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area.

You won't catch a STD by shaking hands or hugging someone with a STD. But, STDs like herpes and HPV can be spread if you have any contact with the infected area, even if you didn't have sex with that person.

It depends on what skin is touching. If you are holding hands-- no.
If you are rubbing your genitals against someone else's genitals and they have HPV or herpes-- yes.
Some STDs such as HIV are transmitted through body fluids, but other STDs like herpes and HPV are transmitted through skin.

no u can only get an std if you have a cut and a person with an poen cut comes in contact with your blood or needle sharing when using drugs. touching someones skin is harmless

yes especially if you have an open sore or a scratch.... remember this when you have sex friction causes you to have an open sore
