I am 24 years old and have had perfect vision allmy life. Recently my eyes seem to be a bit blurry, or they feel like theyre straining. Also at the same time I have been experiencing a mild tingling in my left foot. Could this be a sign of diabetes? If so what kind of doctor would I go to to check up on this?

Possible. Get a glucose tolerance test from any doctor. If you're positive, get back to me... I can help.

Is there any particular reason you are suspecting diabetes? If you are having other symptoms, e.g. rapid weight loss/gain, excessive thirst & urination, etc these would be more typical early symptoms of diabetes.
Your local GP will be able to check you out. A simple fingerprick blood test (do you know any diabetics with glucometers?) would give you a basic idea within a matter of seconds. For formal test, a 2 hour glucose tolerance test would be ordered by your doctor. It is unlikely to be diabetes unless you are experiencing other symptoms.
You might have something else wrong, or it might be nothing at all. See your doctor and put your mind at ease.

Shoot, that could be a sign of lots of things and then nothing. You can have neuropathy without diabetes and the blurry vision could be just eyestrain. If you are worried about diabetes, go to you doctor, have a simple test and put your mind to rest.

Go to your GP. You may only have a problem with your blood circulation, but all can be checked out on one visit. If you are diabetic, the doctor will find out. Try to go early on an empty stomach. Wishing you all the best and hoping that nothing is wrong.........

You are probably fine, but just to make sure just go to your primary doctor. He can have a lab test done of your glucose levels in your blood to see if it is the problem.
