I like the classic candy idea. It's always fun bursting open a pinata that has candy in it, reminds me of when I was little. You could also put confetti and other little toys

Condoms and cigarettes. Oh, and lighters too. Actually, I think they would still like candy. Maybe some candy, and some other stuff, like cool keychains or gift cards for CDs or something.
