Or do they have to be legally married?

Most insurances (that I know anyway) will only cover a couple if they are legally married. Otherwise, they have to get two separate accounts.

I asked my work about getting my fiance on to my insurance and they told me not until we are married.

Just call Medicaid and ask them. Good luck!

Boyfriend and girlfriend can both have medicaid, but they are on seperate cards and you both have to qualify for them.

You would each have to qualify separately.
