Please, by all means, go back to meat. Meat loves you!

Who cares about some chicken? Eat meat! And if you have a boyfriend, eat him too! ;D

specifically what are you eating? a well balanced diet whether it be vegan, veggie or meat eater... should be enough... maybe you are allergic to something or maybe you're hitting that 'detox' portion of the timing if you're eating a good vegan diet.

sometimes folks hit that.. and it's horrible when it happens and can take some time.

but remember.. fresh fruits and fresh veggies.. NOT frozen or canned.. (that stuff has no minerals, it's all been blanched out) what out for some soy/vegan products.. some have casein which can mess you up.

and remember.. do up a diary if you so need.. just in case there is an allergic reaction...

sorry, eating better is just over all better. remember calories are calories no matter what so watch that intake too.

and do remember that:

be cautious of organic: it may not be, some companies have been getting checked out for labeling things organic which aren't.

allergies.

not all vegan products are vegan. watch out for processed stuff, those labels aren't always honest.

and junk food does catch up with you.. that body can't digest inert materials that are in processed foods.. soda is not good for the arteries. (or digestive tract)

remember, a well balanced diet with primarly fresh foods... you want meat? get it from the butcher.. none of this fast food crap or prepackaged junk.. all those chemicals, additives catch up with you.

drink that water also!

remember you could be detoxing which can take some time and really rip you a new one... no one said detox was pleasant.

if it persists no matter.. go get a checkup with the doc and tell him what you're doing.

oh and there's no protein deficency with vegetable diets. beans, soy and green veggies.. then some fruits are jammed with proteins.

:D

What type of orange juice are you drinking? Is it made from concentrate? Juices made from concentrate are nothing more than flavored sugar water. Do a search on Moringa. The protein in it is better than soy. Has all 8 essential amino acids that the body requires and are found in red meat and dairy products. Has nutritional compounds that really help the skin.

Sounds like your diet is not very well balanced. No offense, but you should of educated your self on where to get complete protein and all your vitamins and minerals before turning vegetarian.

Try taking hair stimulator vitamins, that should clear up your skin, hair, and nails to some extent. You can get those off of ebay or at http://www.hairstimulator.net/

Try eating more complete protein also, you can get that from soybeans or soy based products.

Try eating a variety of different seeds, nuts, and vegetables every day too and stop drinking all that OJ drink more water instead.

Make sure your diet isn't loaded with simple carbs and try to get a good protein source in each meal. Be careful of drinking too many sugary drinks (including fruit juice) and go for whole grains and legumes, limiting the 'white carbs' (pasta, most breads, white rice, etc)

If you're doing more physical exercise that you used to, it could be that your body is turning fat into muscle.

also, if you went straight from the sedentary type of lifestyle to a very active and healthy one so quickly, your body could be in a type of shock. just give it awhile to catch up. if you're not gaining weight, just remaining stable, i'd say just wait it out.

also, skin conditions are caused by many different things. it sounds like your life just became a lot more stressful. that's a major cause of breakouts.

Skin problems can be caused by all kinds of things; hormones, stress, etc., it may not have anything to do with your diet. You may want to see a dermatologist.

Losing weight can be difficult for lots of people. It's very likely that you are becoming more muscular and less fat, but muscle weighs more than fat. You didn't say anything about being overweight, though.

You're probably not getting something that you lost when you gave up your former diet. You may want to consider talking to your doctor, or reading a book on vegetarianism to make sure that your current diet is as healthy as you want it to be. When you gave up those other foods, you have to remember that you were getting certain nutrients and such from them that you're not getting now.
