I understand that the tuberculosis test is a test for TB antibodies, using a small amount of TB antigen. My question is, if you get too many TB tests, will your body eventually make antibodies for the antigen, causing a positive test result?

No. The only way you will get a positive result is if you have TB. You can get a false positive result from a TB test though, if you have been exposed to it. You just have to get a chest x-ray if you have a positive result just to be sure you don't have TB.

Is it harmful to receive two TB tests in less than a year? I just had one done in June of 2015 with a negative result and I m being told that I must take another one this Wednesday. Is this okay? I thought you only got that test done once a year.
