Diabetes????

Question

I have been sick all year and my doctor recently suggested that it might be diabetes. Here are some of my symptoms:
*I go to the toilet a LOT
* Always tired even after a good nights sleep
* have recently fainted twice in 3 days
* Feel sick after eating
* headaches
Could someone tell me if these are the symptoms of diabetes and what type?
I am a teenage girl.

I get headaches from something as simple as standing up..
I also noticed that the more sugary the food the sicker I feel.

Hi, for 5 years I have been struggling with this condition of diabetes, really sick and I was having, makes just was about to throw it all out the window and say I give up. This is daft. If your doctor thinks you could have diabetes then he should have recommended a blood test which would tell you if you do or not. Do not hesitate any longer and demand a blood test - it could easily be diabetes or anything - it is obvious you are unwell, so go get a blood test. If he won't send you for one, then change doctors.

They are very similar to diabetes symptoms (but it might be something else... may be!!).
But if you have done some medical tests then the more likly your having type one diabetes because you are young, as type 2 tends to affect the eldurly. Try to tell us more about the symptoms and the kind of food your eating so we can predict if you have the disease or not. (I hope not)

start checking your blood sugars,before you eat,and 2 hours after you eat, sounds like you maybe a diabetic, if you are,,chin-up girl,,life will go on,,grab it by the horns and show it who's boss,,just because you have diabetes doesn't mean diabetes has you

Have you had a comprehensive blood workup? Get to a doctor who specilizes in Diabetes and have all the necessary tests preformed along with a comprehensive exam.
