Used to buy Asda's in-store Indian take-away:
2x lamb samosas
2x mini-naan bread
2x pillau rice
1x chicken tikka massala
1x chicken rogan josh
All for the cheap and cheerful price of £6.00.
But last time we were there, service was diabolical. No one came to take order as they disappeared after serving a family a banquet of a meal. When we called someone over they ran out of plastic containers for the curry and offered smaller ones for the same price?!?!? Or we could have the more expensive pre-paked Indian take-away in a bag!
Since then, I cook my own chicken tikka massala from sauce in a jar. We have plain boiled rice and maybe some naan. No fear of spit or goodness knows what in it.

Paneer Korma, Chicken Korma, Egg- fried rice, some dahl and a Parrata or Naan. I have a big appetite for indian food. I know the chef too so he wouldn't spit in mine.

I always order a mixed kebab starter and then Lamb Bhuna with Pilau rice for a main course, Keema Naan and bombay potatoes and mango chutney, onion and cucumber pickle and mint yoghurt on the side.

A chicken or Mutton Bryani with Gee flavour is splendid.
Matterpaneer + Spinat Curry with Garlic Nan is also my favourite.

Shame on you, it's so much better to make your own even if it's once in a while. Have a go there easy, you know what's gone into it and you can have "one for the chef" also:
various chutneys with puppadums
Beef Madras with pilau rice and naan bread
Good bottle red wine.
Whichever - enjoy. xxx

poultry tikka masala (tandoori poultry in a scrumptious sauce) and dal makhani. they're the two tremendous with naan and rice. heat gulab jamuns or rasmalai for dessert. Request the dal with much less of the makhani (butter cream) for a lighter version.

I am chinese, I always order this seafood mariana pasta from the old tony's across the street, he manages to give me the bigger servings, all ingredients are fresh of the day, none was frozen .
clams, shrimps, anchovies, crab meat, scallops, mussels, herbs...

Ohhh, i apologize, i thought it was saying "italian" takeaway the whole time, in the question.
i kept thinking why everyone come here to say naan bread .. and all that.
I like lamb korma with garlic naan hand rolls, and the mashed spinach paste.
