Yeah sure, but as a meat eater who doesn't eat eggs once said very loudly, " Eggs are liquid meat. They are the entire thing wrapped in one small package!" I know one person prior mentioned how they are unfertilized, but if they contain all the vitals that a real chicken does, like B-12 (which human unfertilized eggs do not) it really makes you question some more! But it really comes down to how you feel about it! In our family we are plain vegetarians...no preface because we don't eat eggs or dairy (but not vegan), and this is our choice!

Yes, Vegetarians can eat eggs. I have been a vegetarian for about five years, and I have done a lot of reaserch about that. The eggs that are sold in stores are not fertalized, meaning that if you didn't eat them, a baby bird would never exist from that egg. The chicken will lay eggs weather or not they are fertalized, but the ones they sell in the store are not fertalized. But what you do need to worry about is the conditions the chickens are living in. I always buy free range eggs, so the chickens from which the eggs came from are aloud to be free and are not in cages. But if you do not buy free range eggs, the chickens are cooped up in tiny cages for their whole lives and never see the daylight. It is also okay to drink milk and eat cheese, because the cows need to be milked. Vegans do not eat any animal products.

Certainly, if you are an ovo-vegetarian or lacto-ovo-vegetarian. I am a lacto-vegetarian, I drink milk (for calcium), but don't eat eggs or products made with eggs -- which includes so much these days. Sigh . . .

Yes. But there is no "CAN" or "CAN'T". It's more of a question of lifestyle and personal preference. It's not a religion or anything. So there's no set of rules. But in general, yes vegetarians can eat eggs, fish, etc.

Yes they can if they are lacto/ova vegetarians. These will eat eggs and have milk and milk products. They just will not kill/have killed animals to feed.
