I don't know that there's a national meal.. Heck, I don't know what the national meal of America is. But if you were trying to make something Switzerland-ish, you could make a cheese fondue and probably not get in trouble.

cheese fondue in the frech part of Switzerland and rosti ( fried shredded potato ( like hash brown) in the german part of switzerland. Add yodeling.... Now you have the perfect dish!!
This isn't a national dish but should be the national chocolate bar is Toblerone!

Seriously,Switzerland is divided up into German, French , and Italian speaking areas...so really it has no "national" dish.

raclette (melted cheese) is a winter thing found in french speaking parts... its hard tho cause switzerland is split into three areas so they eat differently... you know... I'm swiss italian and I have no idea... hahaha shocking isn't it?
