i was just wondering if there are any teenage diabetics.... Do you have any friends that are diabetic.... Are u type 2 or type 1... and if ur type one are you on a pump (if soo what kind) or do u take shots..... and also how old r u and how what age were u when u got it???
I'm 14 and have had it since i was 2 and am on a deltec cozmo pump..

I used to be on shots then when i was 6 i got a blue medtronic pump and about 4 yrs ago i got my purple deltec (just in case u were wondering)

Hi haha kinda simlar story, im 13 i've had it since i was 1. Im type one and took shot's intill i was about 8, then went to the insulin pen and at 11 i went on a Ice Blue Deltec Cosmo :) I had a friend since i found out i had it, he went to my daycare ( for 'speical' kid's ). We lost contact around 10 because he was having some problem's at home.

I have a 14 y/o friend that is on the pump too.He plays sports and has never had a problem.He even goes swimming, without the pump of course.
He was a twin sister and she is not diabetic.
You'll be fine just take care !

i'm specific there are various available your age with diabetes . I even have variety 2 and so has my little sister . attempt and be a splash extra particular i.e your age and variety as those factors recommend all the version .

hey!! yeah, i am. im type 2. im 19 years old and i have had it since i was 13. im not doing a good job of controling it either :[; but my sugars are okish. its not a good thing to do AT all, and i plan on getting better SOON!! i need to! im on the pill, which i sometimes miss doses because im sometimes too lazy to take them which is bad!!! errr soooo much i should be doing that im not!! but hey, i hope ur doing good at maintaining urs =D

my b/f is 23 he's had is since he was 20, he's type one he's on the novalog 70/30 flex pen shot.. and my niece is 6, she's had it since she was 16 months, she's also type one, she's on two different insulin's for the morning, then she just does one type of insulin for lunch and dinner.. they are both doing great.. i wish you the best..
