is there such a thing as marshmallows without gelatin? where can you buy them if so?

Well according to either the most recent VegNews or the one prior, many vegan marshmallow brands weren't vegan as stated! But I would say that since that bit of info came out to the public, the companies should have changed their recipes to be truthfully vegan. To be sure, I'd do a little research on any further companies you find that state their marshmallows as vegan.

Vegan Sweets Marshmallows at Pangea (www.veganstore.com) are made without gelatin.

I think marshmallows you can make don't have gelatin in them. But some of the marshmallow 'spread' stuff doesn't have any.
