Umm...yes! Duh!
Why else would there be a vegetarian/vegan category???
I'm living proof that vegetarians do exist. I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for over a year now. So if you don't believe me or even know what a lacto-ovo vegetarian is, why don't you go here:
peta.org
and look it up? Maybe you could even go veg*n yourself!!!!

Well...obviously these 'guys' actually exist, yes. And, moreover, if human continuity were based on eating habits alone, those participating in a vegetarian diet would exist longer than those that did not. But, alas...we're all in the same proverbial boat, and unless a much greater number of people abstain from a meat-centered diet, the effects caused will be irreversible. World hunger, climate change, soil quality, and destruction of vital rain forest area can not only all be traced directly to mass meat consumption, but they are also in a dramatic tailspin and nearing, maybe past, the point of no return. I am a vegetarian, but I do not hold myself above everyone that is not. I know many of these people, and I loathe them. But for every one of them, there are many more that are humble, compassionate, and understanding. Not only with animals, but those of you that fire personal attacks such as 'crazy' or 'hippies', or asking one of the most asinine questions I've heard in a long time: "Do these guys actually exist?"

Yes and no.
It's not like it's some kind of religion with a rulebook on what you can or can't eat. I don't anything that had a head (or shellfish either) and if I buy leather shoes I only buy them pre-owned. Some vegetarians go further and won't eat anything that involves the possible abuse of animals. If I actually needed to eat meat then I would, but there's no need to slaughter animals for the sake of a hamburger.
Some vegetarians are just semi-veggie and will eat fish or even chicken (I've never figured that one out).

*pinches self* Yep.
I don't have a great track record myself, having been on-and-off before I hit age 19 or so, and then vegetarian for only a couple of years at a stretch after that and vegan for only 6 or so months now.
But my roommate has been vegan from age 5 to age 22, and has only accidentally eaten something non-vegan twice, once that I witnessed. He was so repulsed he threw up and was nauseated the rest of the day. I'm sure he'll be vegan his entire life.

Ummmm....yes. But so many are fake. Real veggies and vegans are soo much healthier and better than carnivores.. haha- check out peta.org, and vegcooking.com
You should try it- do you realize what animals go through before a hunk of their flesh ends up on your plate. Chickens are treated especially terribly. Look at peta.org and if you don't come around- you must be a pretty cruel and unfeeling person.

So ....Im wondering if this is a real question or just a post to judge people with beliefs a little differently then yours? Not everyone wants to eat something that was once a living breathing creature.
