Me and my bf lost both of our virginities to each other and we used a condom majority of the time, but we've stopped using them now. I was wondering if there is still a chance we could catch anything... and if so, what?

Why wouldn't there be a chance?

WHENEVER you have UNPROTECTED SEX you RISK getting an STD.

---
You don't know for a fact that he hasn't cheated unless you are with him CONSTANTLY.

Moreover, why don't you take a birth control pill?
Then you won't have to get the morning after pill.

If both of you are monogamous (i.e, have sex only with each other), the answer is "no".

In reality, though, you never know if another person will "cheat".

You might ask the logical question, "then where did STD's come from in the first place?". There isn't a perfect answer, but they obviously originated somewhere.

Some believe there could have been animal reservoirs to transmit some of these bacterial and viral STD's, but there isn't any concrete evidence.

Suffice it to say that some STD's can be transferred by contact, but very few are stable enough to be transmitted by, say, a toilet seat or anything similar. Oral sex can, and does, transmit some STD's.

Of course, blood transfusions can also transmit STD's, but we're ignoring that possibility.

In a nutshell, if vaginal, oral, and anal sex are between only the two of you, you should never have to worry about an STD.

If what you say is true and neither of you have had any other sexual partner besides each other than I think no. +I AM NOT A DOCTOR this is only my opinion. But are you positive that your partner has not cheated on you? The sad truth is that a lot of young people do cheat on their boyfriends or girlfriends. I was cheated on by my first love and totally was not expecting it; I was floored. I was so terrified when I had my first AIDS test.

Honestly, you are young and you are putting your life in your boyfriends hands. Go to the DR. and get tested. Be safe with your health. Good luck. K

Unless you are marry to your guy "no condoms", but even then you might need them. For example: A lot of females are getting pregnant while using birth control methods. The solution is to double on your protection.
As far as sexually transmitted disease, you are never 100% safe: Sceneario: oral herpes
My ? from me to you is: How much do you value your health and your body? The morning after pill is only for emergency purposes. Reapeted usage will not be considered an emergency and the real reason would be careless and irresponsible.

The morning after pill deregulates you menstrual cycle. I suggest the two of you getting checked for STD's and if you choose to go without using a condom then you do the smart thing and use some form of birth control. There are so many options available today. The pill, the patch, etc etc. Go see a gynecologist and take care of yourself.

If you are truely a monogamus couple, as in there are no other sexual partners on either side, you should be safe from most STD's. There is always a possibility of yeast infections and other minor thoguh bothersome conditions. Herpes could have infected one or both of you without sexual contact as well. There is also the possibility of pregnancy, which while not a disease, can be a problem.

It doesn't matter who claims to be a virgin you should always be tested before unprotected sex with anyone. Not saying that he would lie to hurt you but maybe he really loves you and is ashamed of that one little indiscretion in his past. Once is all that it takes. Just to let you know no birth control is 100% and there are things that can make it not work like say antibiotics. That is why unless you are ready to have a child you should use birth control and condoms. Explain your concerns to him if he really loves you he will do what makes you comfortable.

If you are both faithful, if one of you has ever had cold sores you could give the other genital herpes if you practice oral sex. 6-8 out of 10 adults is infected with the oral herpes virus, and the vast majority of them have no symptoms and don't realise they have it since it is usually caught from an affectionate kiss as a baby rather than through sexual contact. If you were both infected with the oral herpes virus, the risk is very low as an oral infection would protect you against getting it genitally, but if only one of you were infected, there would be a good chance of giving the other genital herpes through giving them oral sex.

Venereal diseases are only a factor if you have sex with others.

Human papilloma virus is something that the docs are not telling us the full story on. It is carried by males, and that is how females get it. It is not clear whether prior sexual contact is what originally infects a person.

If it were me, I would not worry about a thing unless I began having sex with people who have had sex with others.

If you two haven't had sex with anyone else, ever, then there is next to no chance to catch an STD. There is a remotely small chance you caught it by a different means, like infection through a wound.
